Non-woven fabric is made primarily from PP (polypropylene) granules — a petrochemical derivative. The price of PP granules directly drives the cost of finished fabric per kg. When crude oil prices rise, PP granule prices follow, which flows into fabric pricing within 1–2 weeks.
