Spunlace non-woven fabric hydroentangled for wipes & cosmetics

Spunlace uses high-pressure water jets instead of heat or chemicals to entangle fibres, leaving a soft cloth-like fabric perfect for wet wipes, baby wipes and cosmetic pads. Favourite Fab supplies 100% viscose, 100% polyester and 70/30 viscose-poly blends in 30–120 GSM to converters across India and export markets.

Which spunlace grade for which line

Start from the end product, then fix fibre, GSM and surface. Viscose lifts absorbency; polyester lifts wet strength. Send your current fabric spec and we match it. Every grade sits in our spunlace fabric range.

Wet-wipes converters

Baby and personal-care wipes run on 60–70 GSM viscose/polyester, plain or apertured. Lotion-compatible at pH 5.5–7 with phenoxyethanol and glycerin lotions. Specify blend ratio and slit width. Specs: baby wipes spunlace.

Cosmetic-pad makers

60–80 GSM apertured or embossed spunlace for cosmetic and make-up pads. 100% viscose or cotton grades put absorbency first. Name your pattern in the sample request. Specs: cosmetic pad spunlace.

Hygiene and wound-care OEMs

Spunlace buyer questions

Which spunlace blend suits baby and personal-care wet wipes?
We supply 60–70 GSM viscose/polyester blends for baby and personal-care wet wipes. A higher viscose share lifts absorbency; a higher polyester share lifts wet strength. Blends run from 100% viscose through 70/30, 50/50 and 30/70 viscose/polyester to 100% polyester. Share your lotion system and we match blend and GSM.
Is the fabric compatible with wet-wipe lotions?
Yes. Lotion compatibility covers pH 5.5–7 and phenoxyethanol and glycerin lotions. The pH-neutral fabric retains lotion across shelf life.
Which surface patterns can you supply?
Plain, mesh, apertured (wave or dot) and embossed. Emboss patterns include cross, square, rib, pearl, diamond and dot. Apertured and embossed grades add particle pick-up for cleaning wipes.
