What Is 100% Polyester Spunlace Nonwoven?
100% polyester spunlace nonwoven is made entirely from PET (polyethylene terephthalate) fibres bonded using high-pressure water jets. No viscose, no natural fibres, and no chemical binders. The result is the strongest, most chemically resistant, and lowest-lint spunlace fabric in the commercial range.
PET fibres are fully synthetic. They do not absorb liquids, which means cleaning agents, solvents, and disinfectants applied to the fabric stay on the surface for efficient transfer to the target surface. This makes 100% PET spunlace the preferred substrate for industrial wipes, cleanroom wipers, alcohol swabs, and medical drapes.

Where 100% PET Spunlace Is Used
60–120 GSM
Workshop wipes, degreasing cloths, and manufacturing surface wipes. High strength and chemical resistance for demanding industrial environments where viscose blends would tear or contaminate.
50–80 GSM
Electronics, semiconductor, and pharmaceutical cleanrooms. Very low lint particle emission suitable for ISO Class environments. No cellulose fibres means no biological contamination risk.
35–50 GSM — parallel laid
Parallel laid 100% PET for alcohol prep pads and IPA swabs. Firm crisp hand feel, compatible with 70% and 99% IPA. High MD strength for high-speed cut-and-fold converting lines.
40–80 GSM
Surgical and procedural drapes requiring strength, low lint, and sterilisation compatibility. Cross lapped for balanced strength in all directions. EO and gamma sterilisation compatible.
80–150 GSM
Glass polishing, interior detailing, and paint surface preparation wipes. High abrasion resistance and solvent resistance for professional automotive detailing applications.
50–200 GSM
Air and liquid filter media where PET dimensional stability, chemical resistance, and long service life are required. No fibre degradation in most filter operating environments.
