Viscose Polyester Spunlace Nonwoven
Fabric Supplier India
Hydroentangled nonwoven from 70/30 and 50/50 Viscose/PET blend. No chemical binders. Soft, strong, highly absorbent. The global standard substrate for baby wipes, facial wipes, and wet wipes. Available 30–120 GSM, custom width.
What Is Viscose Polyester Spunlace Nonwoven?
Viscose polyester spunlace nonwoven is made by blending viscose (rayon) and polyester (PET) fibres, laying them into a web, and bonding them with high-pressure water jets. No chemical binders, no heat bonding, no adhesives. The water-jet process — hydroentanglement — mechanically interlocks the fibres to create a soft, strong, textile-like fabric.
Viscose is a regenerated cellulose fibre from wood pulp. It is soft, highly absorbent, and has a natural hand feel similar to cotton. Polyester adds tensile strength and wet strength. The combination delivers softness and durability in a single fabric.
The 70/30 Viscose/PET blend is the global industry standard for wet wipes. It is used by leading baby care, cosmetic, and hygiene brands worldwide. The 50/50 blend suits applications where balanced strength and softness matter more than premium softness. Full spunlace range at our spunlace nonwoven pillar page. 70/30 vs 50/50 — Which Blend Do You Need?
The right blend depends on your application priority — softness or strength.
70% viscose delivers maximum softness and highest absorbency. This is the global standard for baby wipes, facial wipes, and premium cosmetic pads. The 30% PET maintains wet strength so the wipe does not tear during use. Used by most major baby and personal care brands worldwide.
Equal viscose and PET content gives a balanced profile — softer than pure PET, stronger than 70/30. Used for household cleaning wipes, multi-surface wipes, and general purpose wet wipes where abrasion resistance matters more than maximum softness. Lower raw material cost than 70/30.
Where Viscose PET Spunlace Is Used
Industry standard for baby bottom wipes worldwide. Gentle on infant skin, strong enough to survive wet wiping without tearing. OEKO-TEX certified fabric required for direct infant skin contact.
Makeup removal wipes, micellar cleansing wipes, toner pads. Soft enough for facial skin contact and absorbent enough to hold the wipe formulation without dripping.
Multi-surface cleaning wipes, kitchen wipes, antibacterial disinfectant wipes. 50/50 blend provides better abrasion resistance for surface scrubbing applications.
Patient cleansing wipes, pre-procedure skin preparation, hospital surface disinfection wipes. GMP compliant manufacturing with full batch traceability.
Intimate cleansing wipes requiring maximum gentleness. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, free from harsh chemicals and irritants.
Cotton round alternatives for makeup removal and skincare product application. Soft, no-lint surface. Lower cost than cotton at equivalent softness.
