Baby wipe fabric must balance softness, strength, absorbency, and safety. It must be gentle enough for a newborn’s skin, strong enough to survive wet wiping without tearing, absorbent enough to hold the wipe formulation, and free from substances that could irritate sensitive skin.

The 70/30 Viscose/PET blend is the global industry standard for baby wipes. Viscose provides maximum softness and natural feel against skin. PET gives tensile strength so the wipe does not tear when used wet. The semi-cross lapped orientation gives balanced MD and CD strength for consistent wiping performance.
