Is your PE film truly waterproof or only water resistant?
LDPE film at 50–70 GSM provides a complete liquid water barrier. It will keep a wound dry during showering and light water exposure. It is not designed for submersion.
What GSM waterproof PE film do most Band-Aid manufacturers use?
55 GSM is the most common specification. Some premium lines use 60–65 GSM. Economy products sometimes use 50 GSM.
Do you supply breathable waterproof PE film?
Yes. Microporous breathable PE film is available for bandage constructions that require moisture vapour transmission while blocking liquid water.
What is your lead time for waterproof PE film?
Standard 55 GSM grades are often available from stock with 5–7 day dispatch. Custom widths and colours have a 2–3 week production lead time.
