What fibre type is best for clean-room low lint spunlace?+
100% polyester is the most common specification for ISO Class 5+ clean-room applications. Polyester does not absorb moisture, does not shed cellulose particles, and produces stable particle count measurements. For skin-contact or medical applications where biodegradability is required, lyocell low lint grades are available. Viscose is generally not recommended for clean-room applications due to higher natural cellulose particle shedding.
